This version of tomatoes is surprising. The recipe convinces by taste and by preparation in no time. There is nothing more to say about that.
Bean-Lamb-Stew
This stew I cook for ages. The recipe I had spotted in a Turkish cookbook and love it. Same old, same old: Easy to prepare and perfect to make ahead anyway. That is why I prepare a large pot. You can halve the recipe as well.
If you have really tasty fresh tomatoes at hand, I recommend to use them. I did in Istanbul because tomatoes were very delicious!
White Beans with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Rosemary
It is a very tasty dish. Mostly I use oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes. They come with a lot of flavor what makes this dish more tasty. I like to serve it with lamb for lunch; but there is no need for it.
Lentil Soup
I like this lentil soup because it is extremely easy to make with only few ingredients and little time. As I enjoy this soup in the morning, I prepare it the evening before. To enrich this soup just add some meat as described in “notes”.
Sautéed Red Swiss Chard and Lamb Steaks with Rosemary
I like to “color” dishes with red Swiss chard. It is brightening every plate. For me the combination with lamb and rosemary completes the not so flavorful Swiss chard.
Roasted Vegetables with Pomegranate
Beautiful looking on plates and satisfying in taste. At least if you like this assortment of vegetables and if you like pomegranate. I can not wait for the first pomegranates in season just to prepare this dish.
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
If I have time I like to roast fresh pumpkin seeds in the oven. The size of the seeds depends on the sort of the pumpkin. Smaller seeds I eat with the shell.
Lamb Patties
Eaten with greens or sometimes as a burger I always enjoy these patties. Who does not like lamb can try it with ground beef.
Roasted Broccoli with Red Onion and Hazelnuts
Veggies, veggies, plenty of veggies daily. Well, roasting vegetables is very comfortable and smart. Because I do not lose the vitamins to the cooking water. It is such a clean preparation. And just easy to make. Besides it does not need a lot of time. Today: the broccoli.
Flourless Chocolate Cake
I love to bake and I love dark chocolate! A cake without flour but with a lot of chocolate is just my thing! I go for a dark chocolate and never change that. Just indulge!
Chocolate Pudding from Avocado
Yes. Indeed. I am talking about avocados. And I am really impressed by this pudding. Moreover, it will cost you just 10 minutes to prep.
My Favorite Pomegranate
I love, love, love pomegranate. I freeze about twenty of them every season to take care of having it all year long. Here is my favorite dish, side dish, lunch, dessert… whatever you want to call it.
Blue Potato Chips with Rosemary
I like to know what’s in it. For that reason I like to prepare even potato chips at home. It is anyway a rare situation that I eat potato chips as I am not a huge fan of potatoes. So why not homemade? I prefer the blue potatoes.
Red and Yellow Lentil Soup
Here comes a very easy soup, nonetheless tasty. The ingredients are simple, thus usually they are always available at my house. So when the weather turns cold… I cook a lentil soup.
Lentil-Bulgur-Soup with Lamb
I like to cook this dish a day before serving. Because it is plenty of soup I enjoy it a couple of days. Served hot in winter and slightly cooled in summer, I prefer it for breakfast.
